Two crews from Broughton attended a fire at a two‑storey terraced domestic property being used as a house of multiple occupation (HMO).
Firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire within the first-floor area of the property.
One adult was assisted from the building by firefighters, and welfare checks were completed.
Crews carried out ventilation and checked for fire spread, with only minor smoke damage recorded to an additional room.
