One crew from High Wycombe and one crew from Beaconsfield attended a fire at a block of flats.
Firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish a fire in the kitchen of a first-floor flat in a three-storey building.
The fire caused approximately 30 per cent damage by fire and 100 per cent damage by smoke to the affected flat. A neighbouring flat sustained water damage to the kitchen.
Crews carried out damping down and ventilation to prevent re‑ignition.
Gas monitoring equipment was used to check surrounding flats, confirming no further fire or smoke spread.
