Four crews from High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Amersham and Gerrards Cross, along with a turntable ladder from High Wycombe, attended a fire on the flat roof of a three‑storey building.
Firefighters used one hose reel jet, thermal imaging cameras and cutting equipment to extinguish the fire and check for fire spread.
Gas and electricity supplies were isolated to the affected flat, which sustained water damage.
Firefighters also carried out salvage operations and worked with the building’s letting agent and occupants to ensure safety, including relocating items from the premises.
A reinspection was later completed, with crews confirming temperatures had reduced to safe levels and no further hotspots were identified.
