One appliance and crew from Newport Pagnell and one from Broughton attended.
A fire was located in a front cupboard of the property.
The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a thermal imaging camera, a positive pressure ventilation fan and a gas monitor.
They also isolated the gas and electric supply.
The incident was left in the hands of the gas board engineer.
