Two appliances and crews from Aylesbury and two from Bedfordshire attended, along with two officers.
Smoke was issuing from a first-floor flat when they arrived.
The firefighters used:
- Four sets of breathing apparatus
- Two hose reel jets
- Two main jets
- A positive pressure ventilation fan
The electricity supply to the flat was isolated.
Thames Valley Police also attended.
