Five appliances and crews, and two officers, were on the scene at the height of the fire.
The appliances and crews were from:
- Gerrards Cross
- Beaconsfield
- Whitley Wood
- Slough
- Langley
Smoke was issuing from a three-storey house when they arrived.
The firefighters used:
- Two sets of breathing apparatus
- Two hose reels
- Two main jets
- One thermal imaging camera
The fire was located in a bedroom on the first floor.
Around 20 per cent of the first floor, and around 80 per cent of the second floor was damaged by fire. It also affected the roof-space of the building.
Around 30 per cent of the first floor was damaged by smoke, and 100 per cent of the second floor damaged by smoke. Around 80 per cent of the house was damaged by water.
The utility services were all isolated.
