One appliance and crew from Broughton and one from West Ashland attended.
The located a small fire in the ground-floor front room of a two-storey house.
The firefighters used:
- Two sets of breathing apparatus
- One hose reel jet
- A positive pressure ventilation fan
- A thermal imaging camera
One woman and one girl were out of the house when they arrived.
The firefighters provided immediate emergency care to the woman who was suffering slight burns to her hands. They passed her into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
