Head of Protection, Assurance & Development

Calum started his career in Fife Fire & Rescue Service, which he joined in 1990, and served at a number of stations, roles and departments, from Firefighter through to Station Manager.

He joined Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service in 2006 whilst on secondment to the Fire Service College.

Since joining BFRS he has worked in a range of roles; Technical, Health & Safety, Support Command, Staff Development, Service Delivery where he served most recently as the “Territorial” Commander for the North.

He is currently the Head of Protection, Assurance & Development, which includes: Health & Safety, Organisational Development, Operational Training & Assurance, Technical, and Protection.
