Emergency SMS has been designed for people with hearing loss or difficulty with speech, although anyone can use it.
You MUST register your number before using this service.
Text the word “Register” to 999 and follow the instructions to join.
In an emergency you can then text 999 with the emergency service you require, what the problem is and where it is happening.
