Two crews from Aylesbury, a water carrier from Princes Risborough, five crews from Oxfordshire and one crew from Berkshire along with three officers attended an incident involving a small fire within a first‑floor bedroom cupboard of a two‑storey thatched property.
Crews used two sets of breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
The thatched roof was not affected, and a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear smoke from the property.
Firefighters also used a thermal imaging camera to check for any hot spots.
