Two appliances and crew, one from Broughton and one from Newport Pagnell attended a house fire. Fire believed to have started by candle setting fire to a cabinet. The ground floor room was 100 percent damaged by the fire. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire and make the area safe. They also isolated the gas and electrics.
