Multiple crews from Aylesbury, Amersham, Chesham, High Wycombe, Marlow, Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross, together with support from Berkhamsted, Hemel Hempstead, Bracknell and Eynsham, alongside six officers, attended a fire involving two unoccupied commercial buildings.
At the height of the incident, firefighters used a turntable ladder as a water tower, four main jets and two light portable pumps to tackle the fire externally and bring the fire under control.
Around 70% of one three-storey commercial building was damaged by fire, with all floors and parts of the structure affected.

Thames Valley Police has launched an arson investigation following the fire at The Bury, Church Street, Chesham, on Thursday 1 October 2026.
