Two crews from West Ashland, one from Broughton, along with an officer attended.
The firefighters used four sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, small gear and a positive pressure ventilation fan. They also isolated the electric supply and carried out two further reinspections to check the building for hot spots.
