One appliance and crew from Broughton and one from Newport Pagnell attended.
A small fire was located in an electric fan heater on the first-floor bedroom.
The firefighters used:
- Two sets of breathing apparatus
- One hose reel jet
- A positive pressure ventilation fan
The bedroom was around 80 per cent damaged by the fire and 100 per cent by smoke.
The firefighters carried out two further reinspections to check for hotspots.
