Fire involving five single storey commercial units covering an area of around 50m by 10m.
At the height of the incident seven crews were in attendance:
- Three from High Wycombe
- One from Beaconsfield
- One from Amersham
- One from Marlow
- One from Maidenhead
Five officers also attended.
The firefighters used:
- Six sets of breathing apparatus
- Three hose reel jets
- Two main jets
- One turntable ladder
- One Command Unit
Incident response began to be scaled down at around 1.45pm.
One man was cared for by South Central Ambulance Service.
Thames Valley Police also attended to assist with road closures and scene cordons.
Road users were advised to seek alternative routes while emergency services were on the scene.
The incident generated smoke, so anyone living or working in the area who could see or smell smoke was advised to close windows and doors.
