One crew from High Wycombe attended reports of smoke issuing from the ground.
On arrival, firefighters discovered smoke coming from exposed electrical components within a road bollard. Crews used one dry powder extinguisher to make the scene safe and reinstated a temporary high-voltage cover.
Firefighters requested the attendance of the local authority to arrange inspection and isolation of the electrical equipment.
