At the height of the fire six crews were in attendance, along with three officers.
The crews attended from:
- Aylesbury
- Bicester
- Wheatley
- Thame
- Buckingham
- Kidlington
Firefighters were called to a fire in a single-storey industrial unit (measuring around eighty meters by thirty meters) used for storing household and building waste.
The firefighters used:
- One water carrier
- Four ground monitors
- Two main jets
An incident command unit from Maidenhead also attended.
100 per cent of the building was affected by the fire.
The electrics were isolated by the electricity company and cordons were put in place by firefighters.
Crews are expected to remain on scene for some time.
