One appliance and crew from Amersham, one from Beaconsfield and one from Gerrards Cross attended.
The fire located in the lounge, was out on arrival, caused by hot coals on the carpet.
The firefighters used small tools to cut away the carpet.
They also carried out a Home Fire Safety Visit.
