One crew from Broughton, two from West Ashland, along with two officers attended.
The firefighters used four sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a thermal imaging camera and short extension ladder.
The fire was located on the second floor of the property, it was approximately 20 percent damaged by the fire and approximately 80 percent damaged by smoke.
