Two crews from Buckingham, one crew from Winslow and a turntable ladder from West Ashland attended a fire at accommodation above commercial premises.
Firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish a fire in a flat on the upper floor of the three-storey building.
Electricity and gas supplies to the premises were isolated as a precaution.
