Seven appliances and crews, along with four officers attended at the height of the fire.
The appliances and crews were from:
- West Ashland
- Broughton
- Newport Pagnell
- Winslow
- Olney
The fire was affecting the ground floor and roof space of the property.
The firefighters used a short extension ladder to rescue a man from the property, passing him into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
They also used:
- Six sets of breathing apparatus
- Three hose reel jets
- Two main jets
- A turntable ladder appliance
Crews carried out further reinspections to check for hot spots.
