Five Crews (Two High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Amersham,Gerrards Cross) alongside an aerial appliance from Whitely Wood, an Incident Command Unit from Maidenhead and two officers.
Firefighters were called to a fire located on the first floor of a mid terrace property. The fire was believed to have started from a candle.
The first floor was 100% damaged by fire, the fire had also affected the roof space. There was heavy smoke logging to the property and neighbouring properties.
Firefighters used:
- Six breathing apparatus sets
- Four hose reel jets
- Two main jets
- Positive pressure ventilation fan
- Thermal imaging camera
- Short extension ladder
Crews remained on scene for an extended period of time for damping down and checking for hotspots.
Home Fire safety visits were carried out by firefighters to the occupiers of the properties affected.
South Central Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
