Three appliances and crews from West Ashland, and one from Newport Pagnell attended, along with two officers.
Heavy smoke was issuing from the house when they arrived. The incident generated multiple calls to Thames Valley Fire Control Service.
The firefighters used:
- Three sets of breathing apparatus
- Two hose reel jets
- Three main jets
- A turntable ladder
- A thermal imaging camera
The roof and first floor of the house were around 80 per cent damaged by fire.
The ground floor was affected by fire and water damage.
