One crew from West Ashland attended a fire at a two-storey domestic property involving a ground floor dining room measuring approximately 3m x 3m.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
The fire caused around 30 per cent fire damage to the room, with smoke damage affecting the remainder of the property. Crews isolated the gas and electricity supplies and carried out damping down operations.
