Past

Two appliances and crews from West Ashland and one from Newport Pagnell attended, along with an officer.

Smoke was issuing from the ground floor of a residential building when they arrived.

A small fire, in the kitchen of the building, was partially extinguished when they arrived.

The firefighters provided immediate emergency care and oxygen therapy to one woman who was suffering the effects of breathing in smoke and burns to her hand and face.

They also used:

  • Two sets of breathing apparatus
  • One hose reel
  • A thermal imaging camera

The kitchen suffered some smoke damage. The firefighters ventilated the building, removed fire debris, and installed smoke alarms.
