One appliance and crew from Newport Pagnell and one from Broughton attended.
Smoke was issuing on arrival, the fire was located in the kitchen cooker in a two-storey property.
The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan. They also carried out a Home Fire Safety Visit in the property.
The kitchen was approximately ten per cent damaged by fire and around ten per cent damaged by smoke.
