One appliance and crew from Gerrards Cross, supported by two appliances and crew from Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue Service, attended house fire. The fire was located in the livingroom and believed to have started by Christmas tree lights. The room was 30 percent damaged by the fire and 100 percent smoke damaged.

To extinguish the fire and make the area safe Firefighters used

  • two breathing apparatus,
  • one hose reel jet,
  • thermal imagery camera,
  • small gear,
  • immediate emergency care kit.

One male was cared for by South Central Ambulance Service.
