One appliance and crew from Broughton and one from Newport Pagnell attended.
Smoke was issuing from a two-storey house when they arrived.
A pan used for cooking on an oven hob had caught fire. A dry powder extinguisher had been used to put the fire out before they arrived.
The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation fan to help clear the smoke.
They ventilated the house and provided advice.
