Two appliances and crews from West Ashland attended, along with an officer.
A fire was found coming from a tumble dryer in a bedroom on the first floor of a two-storey house. The property was damaged approximately 30% by the fire and 50% by the smoke.
The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one main jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan.
