One appliance and crew from West Ashland and one from Buckingham, attended.
A fire in the ground floor living room of a two-storey house, was out when they arrived.
The living room was around five per cent damaged by fire and smoke. The first floor was lightly smoke logged.
The firefighters used a thermal imaging camera and ventilated the building. They undertook a home fire safety visit, installed smoke alarms and provided advice.
