One appliance and crew from Broughton attended.
Smoke was issuing from a house when they arrived, and light smoke logging seen in the ground floor. The firefighters used:
- Two sets of breathing apparatus
- One hose reel
- A thermal imaging camera
- A positive pressure ventilation fan
A candle had been left burning and caused a small fire. Smoke from the fire had affected around 10 per cent of the property.
The firefighters removed the candle, helped to clear the smoke and carried out a Home Fire Safety Visit.
