Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service will be attending the Black History Month Art, Culture & Business Exhibition.
Recognised as one of the UK’s leading Black History Month events, the exhibition brings together communities, businesses, artists and organisations to celebrate Black culture, heritage and achievement.
Black History Month provides an opportunity to recognise, celebrate and reflect on the contributions, achievements and influence of Black communities across the UK. It also encourages meaningful conversations about diversity, inclusion and equality.
As part of our commitment to supporting and engaging with the communities we serve, colleagues from across Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service will be attending the exhibition throughout the event. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet members of our team, find out more about community safety, and learn about the wide range of careers and opportunities available within the Service.
Visitors can also discover more about becoming an On-Call Firefighter, the vital role our firefighters play in supporting local communities, and how we are working to create a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
