Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service is delighted to be attending Christmas in Chesham, a much-loved community event that marks the start of the town’s festive celebrations.
Taking place in the town centre, this fun-filled evening offers something for all ages. Visitors can enjoy a variety of market and food stalls, fairground rides, and a programme of live music and performances on the main stage throughout the evening.
The highlight of the event will see the town centre Christmas lights switched on in Market Square at 6.30pm, bringing festive cheer to the community and officially kick-starting the Christmas season.
Families will also have the opportunity to visit Father Christmas in his grotto at Chapter Two, making it a magical evening for children and adults alike.
Colleagues will be showcasing a fire engine, talking about the role of a on-call firefighter, promoting fire safety and raising awareness of career opportunities within the Service.
If you’re attending, please stop by and support the team.
Please remember that operational incidents always take priority. Operational resources may change, or crews may need to leave the event at short notice to respond to an emergency.
