Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service is delighted to be supporting the Winslow Christmas Fair and Lights Switch-On, a popular community event that brings residents together to celebrate the start of the festive season.
Taking place in Winslow Market Square, the event offers a wonderful evening of festive entertainment for the whole family. Visitors can enjoy a range of seasonal food and drinks, children’s fairground rides, and a variety of stalls offering Christmas gifts and festive treats.
As part of the celebrations, Winslow Fire Station will once again be opening its doors to the community. A fire engine will be positioned outside the station, giving children and families the opportunity to meet firefighters and take a closer look around our fire engine.
Inside the station, visitors will be able to warm up with a selection of hot/ soft drinks and biscuits, while learning more about the role of a on-call firefighter and fire safety.
There will also be a charity raffle, helping to raise funds for the Fire Fighters Charity.
If you’re attending, please stop by and support the team.
Please remember that operational incidents always take priority. Operational resources may change, or crews may need to leave the event at short notice to respond to an emergency.
