As the Head of Prevention and Protection, Adam is responsible for developing and implementing prevention and protection strategies for the Service. Adam ensures the effective management, performance, and delivery of initiatives which safeguard communities and enhance fire safety standards.

Adam joined the Service in 2009 as a Wholetime Firefighter at High Wycombe, later gaining extensive experience in Operational Assurance, Resourcing, Projects, and Technical roles. Throughout his career, Adam has demonstrated exceptional leadership, managing critical functions and delivering projects that have enhanced the Service’s capabilities and efficiency, including standardising breathing apparatus equipment across Thames Valley.
