Simon serves as our Deputy Chief Fire Officer responsible for overseeing service delivery, strategic planning, and change, ensuring we continue to deliver the highest level of safety and service to our community. 

In recent years, Simon has led multiple collaboration and alignment projects, driving enhancements in the Service’s effectiveness and efficiency. He also played a pivotal role as the strategic lead for the Service’s response to and recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.

With over two decades of dedicated service, Simon brings a wealth of experience, strategic insight, and a commitment to delivering outstanding fire and rescue services for the communities he serves.
